When Cats Get Up in the Morning (From the CD Wiggleworms Love You)

(With stuffed animals)

When cats get up in the morning

They always say “Good day!”

When cat’s get up in the morning

This is what they say, they say

Airplane

The airplane has great big wings, (stretch arms wide)

It’s propeller spins and sings, “Vvvvvv….”

(arms spin around)

The airplane goes up, (lift arms up)

The airplane goes down, (lower arms)

The airplane flies high, (raise up)

all over town! (spin in circle)

    Who sings this song? There’s a song that sounds just like this one at the children’s gym, they don’t know who sings it, just curious if you do. My daughter loves this song.

      I’m not sure which song you’re referring to. Everything I use music for is listed just after the title, the others I lead. (we just chant ‘can you be’ and ‘airplane’)

        Sorry I should of stated the song. It’s “Little Hands.” The one that plays at the gym is those words to the tune of Wheels on the Bus. It’s on a cd there, but they don’t know who sings it. Does that song have any other names?

        I’m afraid I haven’t heard a recording of this. I did a search and found a version called Clap, Tap, Bend on ‘It’s Toddler Time’ by Carol Hammett & Elaine Bueffel. I’m not sure it’s the one you’re looking for though!
